Kyle Coltrain & Kevin Coltrain, Co-Founders & Co-Executive Officers of Coltrain Onsite

Kyle and Kevin Coltrain grew up inside the fleet maintenance business their grandfather, Bob Dickinson, started in 1997. Both brothers joined the family company straight out of school, working their way up from field roles before watching it change hands, first to a private equity firm, then to a large national corporation.

That journey shaped what they built next. In 2025, Kyle and Kevin launched Coltrain Onsite Fleet Care to carry the family legacy forward on their own terms, this time built to last rather than built to sell. They are growing an evergreen business: privately held, purpose driven, and people first, with success measured in decades rather than quarters.

Today, that commitment has grown into a team of mobile Technicians serving fleets across the Midwest, South, and beyond, with Kyle and Kevin still guiding the culture they set out to build, one rooted in trust, safety, and treating the people doing the work like they’re at the top of the org chart, not the bottom.
